Do you want to get help, not high?
Hi there. My name is Tim. I’m a pharmacist from British Columbia, Canada.

I have started this site to help “beginners” and seniors learn about medical cannabis.
My goal is to provide easy to understand information and education so that people can make their own decisions about medical cannabis.
As a pharmacist I can provide information, so please note this site is for educational purposes only, and is not to be taken as medical advice. Please speak to your doctor for medical advice.

My Standpoint on Recreational Cannabis
I am not against people using cannabis recreationally. This may or may not surprise you, but it doesn’t mean that I support people overusing or abusing it though.
I feel it is in poor form to think of every cannabis user as a “Cheech & Chong” stereotype. We do not think of every person who drinks alcohol as a down-and-out alcoholic, so we shouldn’t characterize every recreational cannabis user as a “pot head.”
My Standpoint on Medical Cannabis
I believe there is potential for Medical Cannabis to help many patients.
I also agree with most of the studies on Cannabis that say “more research is required.” There have been amazing case reports of people helping their medical condition with Cannabis, and I’d like to see more research done on this versatile plant.
My analogy is that our health is like a wheel. If you have a hole in your wheel you won’t “roll” very well.
And Medical Cannabis could be what you need to “plug” up one of those holes: to help you get rolling again.
But in real life it is rare that it’s just one thing “wrong” with someone’s health: they don’t have just one hole in their wheel. They have lots of holes.
So using Medical Cannabis to fill one hole may help, but to truly get rolling again they will need to address the other holes. The other holes could be due to being overweight, drinking too much alcohol, not eating properly, too much stress, and a variety of other factors.
So if you do talk to your doctor about Medical Cannabis and decide it’s right for you, don’t forget about those other lifestyle factors: those other holes that are taking away from your ability to truly get rolling!

Why I’m doing this
I became interested in medical cannabis because more and more patients were coming into the pharmacy where I worked asking questions, but also telling me about medical cannabis.
I heard enough success stories that I became interested in cannabis. Soon I was doing consultations and getting referrals from local physicians who wanted me to speak to their patients.
Now I’m dedicating time to creating an information source and community where people can come and learn about medical cannabis in an easy to understand way.
And I want to hear from you. What do you want to know about medical cannabis? What do you want to learn?
Please send me a message below and let me know.
